I used to have one too. But i gave it away. I didnt like the sound. The Oscillators always sound the same. DM12 has to less waveforms in my opinion.

My first synth was an sy85, one of only two synths Ive always regretted selling, the other one being a korg prophecy. They were replaced with a EX5 and a Korg Z1, so a bit of consolation there. Still miss those two birds though.

I own the Yamaha SY55. Something about the SY/TG series that always will be special to me. The sampled playback/AWM2 from this era always cuts through a mix. Thank you for sharing!

How is this 2k. Sounds so dated, and useless for most music.

Kurzweil always surprises me with how good it sounds. I would say it's got a nicer sound than Roland or Korg workstations and definitely better sounding effects than just about anything else. Up there with Eventide and Lexicon. Nice demo.
